The key role of the group is to increase survival rates for people suffering out of hospital cardiac arrest. With the current chances of survival in the UK at less than 10% it is vital that we increase awareness so that more people are prepared to act in the event they witness a cardiac arrest. Our responders can't be everywhere, so alongside fundraising for public access defibrillators we run awareness and training courses for the general public so that they are prepared.
