About the event
Learn lifesaving CPR skills for our team of experienced volunteers, and colleagues from South East Coast Ambulance service. We'll teach you what to do if you ever come accross an unconcious patient, how to identify when someone is in Cardiac Arrest, and what you can do whilst waiting for emergency services to arrive. We hope you'll never need these skills, but if you do it might just save someone's life!
We'll be talking about Public Access Defibrillators, and how they can make a difference when someone suffers a Sudden Cardiac Arrest outside of hospital. Get hands on with training devices and see how they work, let us dispell some of the many myths and answer any questions that you may have. We will also be fundraising for new devices in the town, and offering advice and assistance to anyone trying to get one into their community, workplace or school.
